I’ve lost my copy of a really important Dallas Opera production from the 1960’s. Does the library have one I could photocopy?

The Fine Arts division of the downtown Dallas Public Library has Playbills, season brochures, clippings, and other resources covering many years for both The Dallas Opera and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.  These are not indexed or digitized, so you’ll want to visit the 4th floor of the Central Library to use these materials.  If you know the approximate year and/or the production, it will help to narrow the field of search to find your specific program.  These materials can be requested any time the library is open.  However, if you’d like to let us know in advance when you plan to come, we can have some things waiting for you to save you a bit of time.  You can call the Fine Arts Division directly at 214-670-1643.
