In celebration of Charles Dickens’ 200th birthday in February 2012, we are pleased to welcome award-winning children’s author Mick Manning and illustrator Britta Granstrom to the Dallas Public Library. The pair will share stories and artwork from their new picture book, Charles Dickens: Scenes from an Extraordinary Life. Manning reads from the book’s witty text while Granstrom draws large, cartoon-style pictures to bring the text to life. A free event for children and families.
