A Taste of Gospel with Voices from the Soul, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Branch Library Singers, at the Tulisoma South Dallas Book Fair.

Saturday, August 31, 2013, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church at 1819 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Dallas, TX 75215. Breakfast will be served.

Join us in our 11th year of Tulisoma, The South Dallas Book Fair, as we showcase some of South Dallas’ finest voices in gospel music featuring the South Dallas Concert Choir, Seasoned Saints Community Choir of Dallas, Cornerstone Baptist Church Combined Choir, Tabernacle Choir of Joy Tabernacle A.M.E. and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Branch Library Voices from the Soul. Come and enjoy the experience!

To EDUCATE / To PROMOTE / To INFLUENCE!

BVSTX’s mission is to educate the public, particularly the African American community, on the benefits of a plant-based diet, to promote wellness and to influence the community to pursue a vegetarian lifestyle. The Organization seeks to educate the community, particularly in meeting and addressing the concerns of chronic and degenerative diseases. People of color are disproportionately affected by hypertension and diabetes.
