ELSIE THE COW!

Come and meet Elsie as trained instructors will demonstrate how to milk a cow, describe how milk goes from the farm to the consumer, and then answer questions from the audience. This is an innovative program that brings the dairy experience directly to children.

SPARKY THE FIRE DOG

Where: Highland Hills Branch Library (in the Auditorium)

Come and meet Sparky the Fire Dog, in an educational puppet show presented by Dallas Fire Rescue on the importance of fire safety. Children will learn about smoke alarms, escape plans, crawling low under smoke, calling 911, and stop, drop, and roll.

JEWELRY MAKING WORKSHOP

When: Saturday, June 13, 2015 - 2:00 PM
Where: Highland Hills Branch Library (in the Classroom A)

In this 6 session introductory jewelry making workshop, participants will have the opportunity to combine objects with traditional glass beads and metal findings to create a one-of-a-kind pair of earrings and much more! This workshop is open to ages 10 and older.
