AARP Tax-Aide

Dallas Public Library will partner with AARP Tax-Aide to offer free, in-person tax assistance through trained volunteers. Assistance is geared toward people with low-to-moderate income, persons with disabilities, the elderly and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. People interested in receiving assistance should bring W-2's, last year's tax return, Social Security cards for all dependents, and photo I.D. Space is limited. "Snowflake Crystals" - Fun *STEM Science Creative Activity

X-Box 360 - Board Games - Etc.! Come and Get Your Game Skills On!

Come and join other youth in a positive and safe, weekend "out-of-school time" activity showing off your game skills playing with the X-Box 360. Games on the X-Box 360 not only allow you to exercise your body, but it can also stimulate your mind. These types of activities have been shown to assist youth in performing better in school. The MLK Branch seeks to provide such activities for the children of this community. Kids can relax their minds and bodies here on Saturdays when they are out of school.
