Tax assistance will be available at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Branch Library beginning February 12 through April 16 , 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Thursdays. Services are provided by AARP volunteer tax preparers.


Inspired Aging Workshops-Discover the Joy of Painting

When: Thursday, March 05, 2015 - 12:00 PM
Where: Martin Luther King, Jr. Branch Library (in the Off-Site)

Teaching artist Kay Dalton will assist senior students learn to recognize particular works of art, have a basic
knowledge of the Impressionistic Art period and paint

Avoiding Un-Healthy Relationships - Group Discussions

FREE MATH Tutoring - Grades K-12

When: Saturday, March 14, 2015 - 10:00 AM
Where: Martin Luther King, Jr. Branch Library (in the Classroom 1 & 2)

Free Math Tutoring. Registration required. Class is for students in grades K-12 that live in the South Dallas area of town. Students must sign-up to attend.


National Multiple Sclerosis Society - Dallas Chapter

When: Saturday, March 14, 2015 - 11:30 AM
Where: Martin Luther King, Jr. Branch Library (in the Lisa Kilolo Todd Auditorium)

Dallas Chapter of The National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society meets monthly to discuss items of interest to African Americans and others living with MS and their families/friends. Purpose: Support Group for those living with MS. The meetings are free and open to the public.
