FREE Tutoring IN READING! Reading Specialist and Library Associate Kathy Barnes will be offering free sessions to help children ages 6 to 15 years old with their reading. Students will receive personal attention and choice of reading materials. Classes will be offered twice weekly on TUESDAYS, 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again on SATURDAYS, 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. *No exceptions to the schedule. X-Box 360 Live! Get Your Game On!

When: Saturday, September 12, 2015 - 3:00 PM
Where: Martin Luther King, Jr. Branch Library (in the Conference Room)

Come and join other youth in a positive and safe week-end "out-of-school time" activity showing off your game skills playing with the X-Box 360. Games on the X-Box 360 not only allow you to exercise your body, but it can also stimulate your mind. These types of activities have been shown to assist youth in performing better in school. The MLK Branch seeks to provide such activities for the children of this community. Kids can relax their minds and bodies on Saturdays while they are out of school on the weekend.
