Show your imagination in the NORTH OAK CLIFF LIBRARY STORY CONTEST
Oak Cliff Students Grades 1st-5th.

What if your mom was a banana? What if your teacher was a peach or
your bicycle had tomatoes for tires?

Write a one-page story that includes fruits or vegetables
• Make sure to include necessary contact information with your story
• Turn in to library staff by 6:00 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2012
• Early bird prize drawing for entries received by Friday, May 11, 2012

Official Rules
1. Must be an Oak Cliff student
2. Only one (1) entry per student
3. Entries must be received by 6:00 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2012
4. Entry must display the student's name, age, grade, school name and a contact phone number
5. The story MUST use fruits or vegetables in a creative way
6. One (1) early bird prize will be awarded to a name drawn from entries received by 6:00 p.m.,
Friday, May 11, 2012
7. Main prizes will be awarded Saturday, June 16
8. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards will be given for each of the grade groups
9. Grade groups will be 1st thru 3rd; 4th and 5th
