SMU Summer Author Series presents Jeffrey Kahn

How do we balance individual liberty with national security? Is the freedom travel a right protected by the Constitution? Join us for an evening with Jeffrey Kahn, associate professor of law at SMU's Dedman School of Law. Kahn is the author of Mrs. Shipley's Ghost: the Right to Travel and Terrorist Watchlists, in which he tells the story of the Federal employee who controlled passports during the Cold War.
