How to get to Central and branch libraries using public transportation
The J. Erik Jonsson Central Library is accessible by DART and Trinity Railways Express.

All DART routes numbered from 1 to 283 except 234 and 282 come through downtown. Most downtown routes stop within a few blocks from the library. Please contact DART (214-979-1111) for route and schedule information from your location.

Central Library via Greyhound Bus Station
- The downtown bus depot is located at Commerce and Lamar Streets.
- From the depot, walk east six blocks on Commerce Street.
- Turn right, walk two blocks south to Wood Street
- The library will be on your right

Union Station(served by DART Blue Line Rail, DART Red Line Rail, Trinity Railway Express, and Amtrak)

- Walk east on Young Street seven blocks to Ervay Street

- Turn right (west) on Wood Street and walk one block to library
