How to get to Central and branch libraries using public transportation
The J. Erik Jonsson Central Library is accessible by DART, DCTA Commuter Express, and Trinity Railways Express.

All DART routes numbered from 1 to 283 except 234 come through downtown. Most downtown routes stop within a few blocks from the library. Please contact DART (214-979-1111) for route and schedule information from your location.

Central Library via DCTA Commuter Express Bus (Denton/Lewisville weekdays only)
- Signal for a stop at Commerce and Akard Streets
- Walk two blocks east to Ervay Street
- Turn right, walk two blocks south to Wood Street
- The library will be on your right
