The Genealogy Section wants you!

The Genealogy Section of the Dallas Public Library welcomes volunteers! Our volunteers handle many different tasks, from greeting visitors, to the organization of books for reshelving, to data entry, to scanning historic documents. Many of our volunteers are members of the Dallas Genealogical Society, but we welcome anyone with an interest in genealogy and a willingness to work. All new volunteers must attend a general orientation session presented by the library's volunteer coordinator.
