Subject Search With the Online Catalog

Type in author’s last name in the Subject search. A list of all the books by subject on that author appears. A separate listing for literature and literary criticism follows.

The circulating literary criticism area is useful for well-known authors. A variety of critical choices are available such as:

  • Casebooks--pro-and-con criticism on an author.
  • Criticism at different educational levels.
  • Comprehensive examination of an author over more than one generation.
  • A to Z topic organization for authors; this may make finding information easier.
  • Essays focused on recent trends in scholarship on the author.
