Lesson Plans: Marion Butts Collection

The Texas/Dallas History and Archives Division received a TexTreasures grant from the Texas State Library to develop a series of online TEKS//STAAR-based lesson plans targeting 7th grade students using primary resource materials from the library’s collection – including historic photographs taken by Marion Butts.

The lesson plans and supporting materials are in PDF format and can be downloaded from the Lesson Plans pages below. The pages include links to relevant sections of the on-line image gallery.
