Did you know the downtown Dallas Public Library is full of things to do and see?
From Shakespeare's First Folio (1623) to the Declaration of Independence (printed on July 4, 1776), there are eight floors full of treasures to explore.
J. Erik Jonsson Central Library
Due to current staffing levels, the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library is not hosting guided tours at this time. Please call 214-671-8366 with any questions.
Children's Center
Due to current staffing levels, the Children's
Center is not hosting tours during the 2010-2011 school year. Grades PK-6 are
welcome to visit the library during open hours, but all tours are now self-guided. For
more information, please call 214-670-1671.
While the Children's Center is not currently hosting tours, we do offer Discovery
Wall Field Trips that allow children to experience a variety of far-away places via
videoconference technology. Click here to
