According to notes from the manuscript donor, the ACO Shooting Club was founded in 1946 by Dallas natives who had served in Company A of the Dallas Battalion of the Texas State Guard during WWII. In 1952, members of the ACO Shooting Club formed the Trinity Rifle Club. |
