She also played in church choirs and gave piano lessons to local students. Ms. Daisy Clark Jones donated these materials, received from Ms. Terrell shortly before Ms. Terrell's death, on February 29, 1984. The collection contains materials from Eulalia's academic and professional career. The materials include school music programs, church programs, State of Texas Colored Teachers Association annual meeting programs, and a few posters from black churches in Memphis, Tennessee. |

The red brick home in southeast Dallas was donated by Mr. and Mrs. R.W. Trew of Muenster, Texas. The home was operated as a unit of the Buckner Orphans Home and Benevolence Program. The scrapbook contains photos of staff and residents in its first five years as well as newspaper articles pertaining to the home. Obtained by Dr. T Bradfod Willis at an estate sale and donated to DPL in honor of Dorthy Bennett Hutto. |
